Yes, the 97 is a hand-held.  The T90 should work great for this system.
Just put all the primary freqs into one bank or just scan all the memories
in the 800 Mhz band.  I love this feature in the T90.  When the scan stops
on a control channel just stop the scan, press and hold the '2' to set the
tone squelch (you may need to click once clockwise), then re-write the new
setting to memory by   Pressing and holding the MW key for about three
seconds, then do it again.  The first long press writes the current settings
to the vfo, the second copies the vfo back into the memory channel with the
tone squelch.

Thanks much.  I'll take another look, I didn't see frequencies.  Is the 97
a hand held scanner?  I have a t90 and an f6, so I could use either one of
those.  I'll give it a look.
