John, I'm totally with you there. To be honest, getting my general is more a
matter of a challenge for myself than a need, because of being in an
apartment unless someone knows something I don't, there's no way I could set
something up to be able to use general privs right now anyway. At least with
the theory I can get it out of the way after the exam. The code is taking
longer for me, and will be harder for me to maintain until I'm in a position
to actually be able to use it, but I do intend to do so.

I am currently preparing for my General exam and will continue to learn
Morse Code. This change will probably allow me to get to General quicker, I
still want to try my hand at making a QSO using with CW.
