Hi;
How many radials have you used and how long are they?  How far away is it 
from surrounding structures, houses, garages trees etc.

Well, I have been using a butternut 9 band verticle for several years now
and have it groung mounted.
I am extremely happy with it and use it on all bands 160 through 6 meters.
Yes, I have added the 160 coil to it and get many good reports with it.
Of course, it is not as good as an antenna as a single band full size one
would be but when you do not have the room, this is great!
