because xm uses satelites, and so do some hams...and because it relates to
RF signals being passed from one peace of hardware to another, which is ever
so ham related.
And because this list doesn't have to have topics on purely ham radio
related topics.
And also because, as the title of the list indicates, the list is for blind
ham radio operators, not ham radios operated by the blind.
Which means, we can discuss anything that effects us as both blind ham
operators, and as blind persons using and exploring/experiencing
technology.
Just think, if hams only ever discussed ham radio what technology never
would have been developed or invented.
We have heard from the list moterator on this topic a few times now, and the
word is that if its not so far off topic that it can't some how be related
back to a topic regarding a ham station or a person who is trying to figure
out technology to use his/her ham station then its on topic.
as i have done here, i have related this thread back to amateur radio
operators if not the direct use of amateur radio itself.
