A hand held is always good to have in case of emergency and travel, I know
if I had to get rid of all my UHF/VHF stuff, the hand helds would be last to
go. 2 meters is the most populated of the VHF/UHF bands generally, 6 can be
fun but not really a first priority. I do have more fun on HF but do still
get on UHF and VHF quite a bit too.
