Kind of curious about something. I went to get some coax to put up my
antenna yesterday. I found rg58, rg59, and rg6 I think it was. It is
the cable you use for direct tv. My dad's friend says to get rg8x with
the ends already on it from Memphis amateur. I looked at the 8 and it
is 40 bucks for 100 feet. I have a 100 ft piece of rg6 for direct tv
and wondered if it would work. The rg58 goes for about .25 a foot.
Just trying to get an understanding on what you need and why.
Supposedly the direct tv people said you can't use anything other than 6
for dtv because the picture won't be good. I would think that if it is
good for dtv then it should work for radio. It's all new and I am sure
there is a reason, just want to know.
