Admittedly I should write this individually, but being that I have friends
on this list whom this may concern, I found it appropriate to post this. So
for anyone that I currently communicate with now on ham, local or otherwise,
my station is down. Because of the construction work that's in progress here
at home, my main switch box where my antennas are connected has been
disassembled. In fact, my entire room has been torn up and it's getting
ready to be recarpeted. My whole house is being refurbished including the
top level which was done first. As a result I'll be missing from all bands
for an indefinite time, I'm hoping that it's not longer than a month.
Judging from the length of time required to fix up the top floor, I suspect
it will be at least a month for the ground floor. So as long as I've still
got the basement, I should be reachable threw email. Luckily I have my old
western electric phone, so at least my land line is accessible, otherwise
the electricity upstairs has been shut off. Needless to say, my cordless
won't work. After all this mess I've got to hunt up one of my friends to put
my station back in effect. Until then, this is it.
