rich,  In word, do you have the checkbox checked for the use of word as
yuor editor for email?  Possibly if these are unchecked you will have
other options within outlook.  I had this problem at one point but turn
this feature off due to the extra time and resources required on the PC
I was using at that time.  I have not decided what I will do when I
upgrade the PC from 98se to xph.

Thanks everyone for the computer info.  I think I know what I need to
do to 
get the mouse issue resolved.  Someone made the very correct comment, 
however, that you need to remember how to undue it in the event you
want 
sighted help.
As for outlook, that is still a mystery.  Why entering on a link in
e-mail 
opens a word doc rather than just a new message is still unresolved.
