I am currently on the name brand "Armour Thryoid", and don't know why you
would want to use a generic brand. <<
Pam,
I am not sure if mine is a generic or not, that is why I asked what the
generic name is. My prescription label says "thyroid (Armour)" didn't know if
that was generic or not. I have an HMO so at times things are generic. 30
pills costs the insurance co. $ 5.73
I will say I feel 1000 times better for the last 3 days that I have been on
Armour!
My gyn & endo are fighting things out now. I have been bleeding for 16 weeks
straight, last night ended up in hospital for a D&C due to hemoraging. Gyn
says thyroid is causing the excessive bleeding (amount & time) and endo says
no way my numbers are fine. They can't agree on a medication to help me
either. One okays birth control (not me!) other says no way. One says
pregestron one say well mabey... I am going to lock them in a room and let
them come out fighting! Has anyone had this problem and/or tried either one
successfully with thyroid?
Thanks
