Welcome to the group!!! To address your questions, for some reason they
have not identified, Polycystic Ovary Disease (PCO) is seen in higher
numbers among women with autoimmune hypothyroidism. And the acne is
most likely a symptom of the PCO, as it's considered a common part of
the overall PCO syndrome. Dry, sandy eyes are also common with
hypothyroidism.
