I have one of those thing on a old 220 midland 1309 I think it is.  It still 
works and has some of the best transmit audio that you will ever hear.

Anyone recall the GLB 1 synthesize?  I recall these from college days
when friends would use them with Comerica GE or  Motorola  VHF fm
transceivers.  AH for 100 WATS in my mobile again!  And a full size 2m
collinear as well....
