Well, the THF6A is always a god option though it's not single band, I think
it's a little cheaper. A very good 2 meter only HT though is the Kenwood
THK2AT. I have one and a few cheat sheets I made for it. I actually bought
it to monitor my echolink link when I had it but when that went by the way
side, I found I liked the radio too much to sell it so I still have it and
used it a lot on vacation right after I got it. If anyone's looking for an
easy to use, 2 meter only HT, I can't recommend anything higher. I'm sure
some are as good but nothing's better that I've used and it really performs
too. It gets out very well and feels solid.
