Hi Christy, an indoor mag mount can do quite well, especially if you have
a farely high location to put it, such as a refridgerator! A stacked
washer dryer combination works farely well also! The main thing is to
have at least 19 inches or more of metal underneath it, not only to keep
it from moving around, but to act as a groundplane! Ten to Twenty watts
is pretty safe as long as you don't cause to mutch interference to other
devices, though unfortunately a little bit is probably unavoidable! You
will also hear garbage from some of your other things, especially your
computer, in your reciever. Of Course, if you have a bellcany, with a
metal railing, you could be in luck there too! If you have an echo link
repeater or simplex link in your area, may we can chat sometime! I rum a
simplex node on 446.525 out here in Apache Junction Arizona, about 35
