Oh ya, can't help but agree Jeff. During one of those such band openings, I
heard oneo f the members of this list, Lou K2LKK, but the repeater was on
the same frequency as one 20 minutes away from here.

Subject: band openings this last holiday weekend

Hi everyone, I am just wondering if anyone on here has noticed VHF/UHF and
the higher bands have been wide opened this weekend? Here in Michigan and
on other lists I have been on people have been reporting a lot of long d
distance catches on VHF/UHF.
In addition to that I hope that everyone had a good thanks giving.
