Hello.
I think some of you probably have heard of the digetal mode just released by 
the J A R L that is called D star.

this is a full digetal mode that is some what like the digetal mode used by 
public service radio.
I have heard that Icom has mobiles and hand helds that work this digetal 
mode and I have heard they are high priced just like any new technoligy is.
I wonder if any one knows about this and if so are the radios used in this 
new mode accessable and easy to set up by blind amateurs?
