Hi Keith,

I use the Heil ICM which is a mic made just for Icoms but is about the size
of the Goldline. You could put one of these or a Goldline on a desk stand
with a gooseneck and it would probably be about the same footprint as your
444 or you could put it on a boom. I have this arrangement and love it. I
can swing the mic over to talk or push it out of my way to have the tabletop
clear.

Good luck in your quest and very 73.

Kevin :)

Any one used the heil microphones (not the headsets).

I am looking for some idea of the size and construction.

I need to replace my 444 which has fallen to bits.

Thanks

Keith
