Hi Gery;
I found the best way to learn the code is to listen to it on the air.
I listened to qso's plus I listened to the arrl broadcasts.
They broadcast articles from qst using code.
It really helps when you are listening to subject matter that makes sense
rather than just random letters.

Subject: [BLIND-HAMS] code
I am in the process of learning code. I figure I will take the 5 wpm code
and that will be good for a year. The written test won't be as hard for me
to pass since the majority of it is just remembering the correct answers.
I'll get it though. I've never wanted anything in my life than the extra
class license. I know that eventually I will get it. I do get discouraged
with the code but I keep on trying.
