Hi Folks, I'm considering possibly obtaining a Kenwood 2530 2meter radio to
use as a fixed station to replace my more powerful, but not real blind
friendly Radioshack htx242.
Having neither used nor owned one of these Kenwoods, I've checked some of
the available reviews on Eham.net and still have a couple of accessibility
questions.

1, is it possible, without sighted assistance, to know which PL tone you're
entering into the particular channel using this radio?
2, does it receive strictly 2meter frequencies or is the receive frequency
range wider? Any help with, or possible offers of availability of such a
radio would be appreciated.
Thanks from, and Reply off list where needed to,
