I have FRS radios in my go kit, and the bubble pack radios I have, changing
the tone is very easy, easier than changing the channel in fact though if a
complete radio novis were to have 1 of these radios, I fear they'd be
completely lost and I couldn't help more than marginal because I'd just use
my gmrs commercial radio unless it was an FRS only frequency. Now, I need a
better commercial radio for that stuff for portable, my midland can't seem
to be programmed by anyone I know. Rare radio with an rarer cable but I'll
save up and get that Motorola or Kenwood radio I want.
