    Steve:

Well, I just checked with my XYL, and she says that the step is already set
at 12.5. It still won't let me put the last digit in. When I enter
462.5625, I get a long beet when hitting the last 2, and it rounds it off to
462.550.

Is there something I need to adjust in the menus?

By the way: the step can be adjusted, as you said, by using the function
key and then 0.

If someone can give me a step-by-step procedure on this one, I'd appreciate
it.
