BREAKING NEWS: FORMER POLICE COMMISSIONER CAMARA RELEASED FROM CUSTODY!!!
BY AN EDITOR
News just came in that the detained former police Commissioner Ebrima Camara, has been released from custody, after the investigators found no evidence linking him to the said alleged foiled coup. Mr. Camara, who was released late last evening has reunited with his family.
Mr. Camara was picked up at his Fatoto home by Gambia’s security agencies last weekend. He was interrogated in connection with the alleged foiled coup. The Freedom Newspaper received a voice mail message from SL Camara, residing in New York City, who called to inform us about the release of his detained brother.
Meanwhile, other civilian and military detainees continue to languish in detention. The state is yet to press any charges against the detainees.
