I have recieved numerous emails concerning my post suggesting there might be cross-contamination issues will Bob's Red Mill products. It all started with the email I recieved below:
"...What I wanted to say, though, was that you might want to be careful with the Bob's Red Mill flours. I think they have changed the labels now to indicate that they are made in non gf facilities. Many folks, myself included, have had serious issues with cross contamination when using Bob's Red Mill flours. Just fyi."
It seems that this individual could be wrong. Bob's Red Mill website has addressed this issue directly:
"Bob’s Red Mill has been praised again and again for our dedication to producing products that are free from gluten. People suffering from celiac disease, gluten intolerance, wheat allergies, or are avoiding gluten for other health reasons can feel assured by the Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free symbol on all our certified gluten free products. This symbol informs those following a gluten free diet that our products are produced in a dedicated facility and batch tested to comply with the Codex Alimentarius standard of 200 parts per million. Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free products consistently fall below 20 ppm, far below the standard."

"Bob Moore, President and Founder of Bob's Red Mill states: 'We have met so many people and read thousands of letters from individuals who want more gluten free alternatives,' he said. 'Now that we have added a new gluten free milling area and a laboratory for testing, we are perfectly equipped to respond to this need.'"

I am still looking at other companies who sell GF nut flours. I want to know what all is available. I will post a summary of those companies soon.
