Greetings All,
I was fascinated and concerned when I read the posting last week regarding the hard-shell capsules being developed, so I researched the company online and found an e-mail contact address. Thankfully, they are based in the UK, where there is more awareness of Celiac Disease than in the U.S. My inquiry and their reply follow...

Subject: Hard-shell Capsule Development
Greetings,
The development by your company of a starch-based capsule for dietary
supplements was brought to my attention today. I, and significantly many
other people, have Celiac Disease. As you may be aware, Celiac Disease is
an intolerance to gluten, aka the protein found in wheat, barley and rye.
Our concern is that this new capsule may cause serious health problems for
people with Celiac Disease if the capsules are made from the starch of one
of these grains. I realize that you can not disclose details, but can you
ease our minds as to whether this new capsule will be gluten-free?
Thank you for your time,
~Tamara Barker
