I do not have a citation for this, but I thought there was now proof that
sinus infections were usually from fungus versus bacteria .......

A Google search on sinus + fungus turned up 386,000 hits.

Here is one:

Subject: [P-F] sinus infection

Went to the dentist to have a crown taken off, decay removed from the tooth,
and temp crown put back on. Dentist thinks I also have a sinus infection and
I admit I still have a stuffy nose and occasionally cough up mucus. He
prescribed augmentin, 7 days, 1,500 mg a day. I would rather not take an
antibiotic.

What can I do from a paleo standpoint? Will a sinus infection eventually go
away on its own?

Kristina
