Lord, talk about guilt! I "started" about 5 years ago but haven't started
yet, if you know what I mean. Just now I took my b/p after two days on the
diet and it's down to normal. But given my history, I'll go off it and the
b/p will go back up.
I really liked the comment on salt where the totally confusing info out
there was mentioned. I even wonder sometimes if my b/p is OK for me. I ran
into people this summer whose b/p was around 240/ 180 and they had all kinds
of problems. Mine is only around 170/100 and I am determined to get it down.
My hat's off to those of you who manage to stay with it.
I am totally sold on the basic idea that our bodies are not adapted to the
'modern' agricultural diet and I heard a discussion yesterday on
inflammation as the cause of a great deal of illness. I think the foods we
are not adapted to cause inflammation and thus high b/p (weight is not my
problem).
Anyway, I am so ill-informed I seldom participate but will continue reading.
