From another field of study, pianists study a difficult piece by starting
very
very slow and steady, training their fingers and brains. Tiresomely slow,
in fact
(I don't have the patience myself). This allows their fingers to fly when
they
know the piece. It's not true that if you learn a movement slow, you
can't speed up.
