Yeah, I know what you mean, Meir. It *was* funny but it bothered me on
another level, too, because I felt it turned a horrible part of history into
a farce. I know it was based on Stalag 17 - a fantastic movie, by the way
that did not downplay the mistreatment of the POWs in the German POW camps
but still managed to have a sly humor. I loved William Holden in that film.
