Hi Colin,

I have a TS2000 and using a 51.9 ohm dummy load, I get 104 watts on 75
meters and 100 watts on 10 meters. I just checked it. I used to get 110
watts on 75 before I switched to a switching power supply, but I don't think
that anyone can hear a six watt difference.
The thing that bothers me about the newer built in tuners is that they are
not very efficient. On 75 meters my power drops from 104 watts to 84 watts
going through the ts2000 tuner. That's why I use an external tuner.

ah ok.
Well, first of all, i could never get a full 100 out of the 570 anyway,
never above 97 when it had a 1 to 1 match.
same is true with the 2000, never a full 100 out on any mode.
Yes, i was using an 800 and 1K tone input at the mike jack with a perfect
match.
as soon as the match goes up a little, the meter will start showing higher
power output figures....if you have around a 1.3 to one match, it will show
around 101 watts where it showed 97 with a 1 to 1.
