Hi,
Has anyone experienced only neurological-type symptoms or limb pain due to Celiac Disease, or gluten sensitivity with normal blood tests? I've had symptoms of intermittent mild-to-moderate pain, and paresthesias (odd sensations) - mostly in my lower legs - for two+ years. I have no GI symptoms. All blood tests, EMG and nerve conduction studies, have been normal. Genetic testing did show one gene for Celiac, but the Celiac Blood Panel by Prometheus was normal, which included:
Anti-Gliadin IgA & IgG
Anti-Endomysial IgA
Anti-tissue transglutaminase (tTG)
Total serum IgA
Any other food intolerances, or other ideas? Any experiences would be appreciated.
(My symptoms started with a 1-2 week episode of eye pain, vertigo, urinary frequency, nerve pain over most of my body, fatigue. This mostly resolved to milder intermittent paresthesias, muscle pain, nerve pain, tightness/spasticity of right leg, eye pain. All symptoms are usually mild.)
Thank you.
