I am a subscriber to an e-mail publication called Connections, which allows 
ads to be exchanged, and has other tidbits.  signing up is free just to read 
and respond to ads, but, after your first ad, there is a $5 charge.  this 
month, the editor invites us to submit our literary work for free, so that, 
when the time comes when we can publish our writings, we'll have more
