I'm late on this thread but humidity can get way high in the U.S.
also. I was in the States twice, once in Arkansas in the South and
once in Minnesota and both times we experienced humidity well above 90%.
We're getting our share of heat and huidity here also. I don't
remember summers being as hot and humidwhen I was a kid. Maybe this
is the polar caps melting ... <g>
