Jen,
I'm not offended at all by your comment,  but they, the vets,  would 
be. They are a part of the body of Christ and they have been 
emotionally trained to honor that flag above everything.  To me, it 
almost looks like worship.  In fact, in the case of this one man who 
isn't coming back, I believe that it is worship.  This makes it a 
heart and spiritual issue more than a simple decision of where the 
flag should go.  All I can say is, I'm glad that they're out of the 
front of our sanctuary and now, our sanctuary is holy devoted to the 
worship of Christ.
