In additon to taking probiotics complex with and after stopping antibiotics, there is something else you can do if you get a yeast infection.USE ECHINACEA OINTMENT TOPICALLY. I have had 2 experiences with it...once I got a severe vaginal yeast infection and my md/homeopath presribed it. It was healed within 2 days!!!

The other interesting use was after I had the amputation of all the toes on my right foot due to an opportunistic strep infection. After it finally closed after a year and a half I developed a yeast infection on the closure which we referred to as "my mushroom"....Loprox was given to me but I was allergic to it and I remembered echanacea ointment. I was told by the plastic surgeon that the loprox would take MONTHS to heal the fungus. The echancea worked in ten days!!~ you should have seen all the md's who came by to look at the foot. The md's at the wound care center were highly impressed.
