I recently posted about osteoporosis and shots and got good responses. I took them to heart and continued to search without taking the shots. I was diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism and have since had the surgery to remove the adenoma. I feel great and was told that my bones will begin to heal now that they can get calcium again. Have any of you had the experience of your bones healing after parathyroid surgery? Is this a more common illness in those with celiac?

Thanks,

Laura
