Brother Oku,
         I believe each of us has a  lot of stories to write which we can 
either capture in simple poetry or  prose. You have a lot of knowledge about the 
indigenous aspects of life in  Banjul, and if you should portray this 
knowledge in a literary form it  would be dramatic.  
 
         I hope sitting around the  furno was accompanied by laka mboha. 
Sometimes I have this nagging feeling  that I should gather the family one 
evening, and just for the fun of  it, have a story telling session but the "lebon 
lepane amon na fi da na am"  stories are almost dead in our memories. It was 
nice, especially when it  was raining at night, to gather around and have the 
burki ak njombor, kumba  bu am ndey ak kumba bu amut ndey stories etc. It was just 
beautiful. I await to  read the inspiring poem. Regards.
