This month has been a good one. I have enjoyed the mostly springlike weather
by going for lots of walks with Ellie. She is doing well. She still has her
moments though.
I have begun volunteering at an elementary school about a haolf hour from
home. I'm working with 2nd and 3rd graders on reading in a pullout
situation. I  have 4 kids and I'm there 4 hours a week. Its going well. I
love the chalenge and fun of teaching kids to read. The kids all think
braille is cool and they love Ellie who is doing wonderful in the crowded
hallways. She's super at ignoring the kids! The other staff are very nice.
As I mentioned last month I messed up my back in a fall, so I spent 2 days a
week in therapy. She says I have some of the tightest muscles she'd seen.
She gave a number of stretches to do. My back is totally back to normal.

I haven't put out any podcasts this month but last weekend I attended
folklife in seattle and have some stuff recorded from that that I will edit
in to a podcast.
I'm eagerly anticipating June I will be going to summer camp and it is also
the month of my birthday  Send gifts especially money to... Oh wait never
mind LOL.
