Sharon, I agree with you and think too about casting pearls before swine. 
There is a time when people just don't want to hear and, if we speak to them 
at that point, I believe they can become even more hardened.  Lots of times 
it's just our actions that speak to people and words are not what are 
needed.  Some also need that we first gain their respect, befriend them. 
Jesus didn't tell His disciples many things at the beginning because they 
could not have taken or understood them.  In fact, they didn't understand at 
the time He spoke, but that was the time He was going and needed to say 
final things to them that later they would understand.

Oh well, that's enough from me for tonight.  It's time I went to bed!
