Mary,

I cried for ages when I retired Fabian too, but asked God what to do about
his retirement. He gave me a day and told me to have a party for him, and
that enabled me to cope with that stage. Now the end stage is drawing near
and, as with you, it's my last dog. He's a great big sheep and as gentle as
a giant. To be honest, he's probably not been my favourite dog but he's had
his own specialty and represents a life with us which has spanned a good
part of our marriage (family life) together for Mike and myself. I only see
people during the day four or five times a week and usually only for an hour
or two, so he's certainly been good company.

There's nobody like him who feels when I'm sad and cries with me!

Time for the tissues again! Hugs:
