Ryo I used to get about a dozen cases of disappearing CDs a week and in all
of them the system had a virus. From a DOS prompt run chkdsk, you should have
655,360 total bytes memory, anything less would indicate a virus is present.
If it's less, run fdisk with the switch /mbr about ten times and see if that
fixes it.
