Loren Cordain has just published an ebook titled The Dietary Cure for Acne.
It has long been known that there are four proximate causes of acne: 1) pore
blockage; 2) Excess oil production; 3) Bacterial infection; and 4)
inflammation.

The book explains how diet affects all four of these factors, and is
fascinating reading, even if you don't have acne. It covers how altered
levels of IGBGP-3 and IGF-1 cause the keratinocytes to block the pore, how
high glycemic foods increase oil production, and some very interesting
information about how dietary lectins prevent skin cells from sloughing off
properly.

It is available at www.dietaryacnecure.com <http://www.dietaryacnecure.com/>
.

Cheers,
