How far would this murderous regime go before Gambians realize that
something needs to be done? The litany of crimes, from the callous murder of
Koro Ceesay to the cowardly assasination of Deyda Hydara, will only come to
an end with the removal of the APRC from power. My conviction is that they
are now daring ordinary Gambians to do something about it.
I still cannot believe that some people can go so far to silence opposing
voices in The Gambia. I just hope that as Amadou Scattred-Janneh said on
Focus on Africa today the government will bring the culprits to justice.
However, I'd only be too naive to believe that the APRC government will ever
charge anybody with this crime when, to this day, no one has been publicly
indentified for the murder of the school children; a crime which took place
in broad daylight.
Hamadi.
