Bambalye,
Interesting reading.Yesterday in the English ITV news it was made mention
that a project in South England is organised using the Cuban health care
provision model, the only thing here is that the owner of the project is a
millionaire ,he was in Cuba to see how things are done there and locals in
this Southern England area who were interviewed like what they are
getting,interesting.
The problem with the Gambia is that, the Doctors are there but the way the
programme is been carried out is not responding to the needs of the People.I
was reading the election manifesto of the UDP which was very
interesting.Though I have some reservations ,the fact that they have
recognized that the issue is not only building hospitals but that a
grassroots health care system is what is needed to meet the needs of the
people is inline with what I believed to be the solution to our health care
needs.
