Phil,
When I talk to Chris, I get the feeling that he's just hanging on to
his wishes by a thread and he just doesn't want to surrender to what
he knows is right. He blames his X roommates for his losses and,
while, in a way, they may be to blame, if Chris were willing to just
buckle down and start disciplining himself, or, if he had just been
willing to abide by our rules and stay home, none of this would have
happened. In other words, he still refuses to make the connection
that it is his poor choices and bad behavior that got this whole
series of unfortunatte events started in the first place. Sometimes,
as a parent, I get so frustrated because I can see this so clearly
and he either can't or won't. Man it is hard to be a parent.
