This might be labeled under "duh!" by most of you, but I had to post re my recent discovery about chicken broth. I occassionally use it insted of water when making rice or use it in making GF gravy. Anyway, I just happened to look at the label on the can last night before I used it, and it contains wheat gluten! I was shocked. I had another brand in the cabinet so I looked at that and, yup, that one had gluten too. I apologized to my child and husband (the celiacs in the family) for posioning them a few times in the past (oddly, they had not reacted to the broth, which might have tipped me off), and will be on the lookout for GF broth. However, I wanted to post b/c I am usually really good about this stuff, so if I could make this mistake someone else might too.
