This sounds easy enough, assuming the new Compaq has room to install the 
new drive, and the power supply is large enough.
Be sure you re-set the jumpers on the 80 GB drive, depending on whether 
it's to be Master/Slave/Cable Select.
Once it's installed, Right-click My Computer/Manage/Disk Management. 
Right click the newly added  drive (In the Graphical box) and select 
"Format". You'll probably want to use NTFS. If you intend to use FAT32, 
there's no need to format. Just erase the files you don't want.
