I had a DX4-100 which I unknowingly installed in the wrong direction in the
socket. When I turned the system on, the power came on, the HD and monitor
came on, etc., but the screen was blank and nothing happened. I hastily turned
it off and rechecked the chip's position. Imagine my panic to discover I had
the chip in wrong! Having nothing to lose, I turned it in the right
orientation, turned the system back on, and it worked fine!
