The cell phone-snatching stories reminds me of another one that Paul Harvey 
told:

Some tourists were riding along in the Outbacks of Australia.  Suddenly they 
saw a kangaroo along the road!  It appeared to be dead, as it lay 
motionless.  the tourists got out of the jeep.  They propped the kangaroo up 
and began dressing him up, topping it all off with purse and jewelry. 
Suddenly the poor creature got up and ran off!
