Rhonda,
Actually they are not married. They were planning on it last year but I
think medical issues with their little one caused them to side step
marriage in light of medical assistance.
Karen, it is difficult to see God behind the wheel but we trust he is
there, as with life in general at times.

Subject: Andy Update
Here is today's update on my nephew Andy. They are putting in a breathing
tube in his throat and more permanent feeding tube as well to prevent
infection. They tried to pull him out of his induced coma to test his
responses but had to put him back in because his blood pressure shot up.
They had a family meeting and indicated that he will be in for a long haul
to recovery and they were not real encouraging I guess as to his responses
at this point, and that amount of brain damage. He does reflex but that of
a baby when touched and not so much congiscent movements. We are all being
hopeful and praying, it is hitting me for the first time today that he
could indeed be a life support case or badly brain damaged and incapable
of quality life. I suppose I knew that before, but he was making bits of
progress which sparked hope but we just have to be patient and let his
body and God do their work.
