Hello again listserv members.
Last week I posted the article from my local paper about Elizabeth Barbone
and her new cookbook. Yesterday I went to the launch paper and had a grand
time.
There was a gluten-free dessert buffet prepared by the author. I enjoyed
chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin bread, sugar cookies and a chocolate
cupcake. It was all wondwrful and was the best food I have eaten since going
gluten-free.
Elizabeth was so very nice. She spent time talking with everyone in line. I
bet there was over 150 people!
In addition to the food and meeting the author, I had a great time talking
to other people on the diet. Unlike a support group setting, which can be
semi-serious, this gathering was fun, fun, fun!
I went home and made the chocolate chip cookies from the book. They were
just as wonderful as the ones at the party. And the book has large print and
is easy for me to read.
I really recomend the book to anyone. I have no relationship with the
author--just a happy reader. I just wanted to pass this along. Here is the
web site www.glutenfreebaking.com
