Dear Listmates,

A Fanny Farmer cookbook recipe came around last week in the local newspaper.
My Everloving updated the recipe a bit with quinoa flakes, reduced the fat
considerably and put in a bit of peanut butter. The result is a semi-moist,
chewy cookie that you can find at
http://base.google.com/base/a/1101971/D8690748750870339861. If you have
trouble with the hyperlink go to http://base.google.com
<base.google.com>and search for "gluten free cape cod oatmeal cookies"
(no quotes). Of
course, you don't have to use peanut butter. You could use any nut butter or
if you are allergic to nuts, you can use margarine or butter.

Happy munching,

Vic-Sunnyvale, CA
